Lefkada is a delightful town with iconic narrow alleyways, a lovely harbor with restaurants, traditional churches, cafes, a long shopping street and many more. At only 6 kilometers from the accommodation is Agios Ioannis Beach, a wonderful beach that is a famous destination for Wind and Kite surfers from all around the world. On the east coast of the island you can find small seaside villages like Lygia, Nikiana and Nidri with water sport activities, boat trips and small harbors. On the west coast of the island you can find the world famous crystal blue beaches of Kathisma, Milos, Egremni, Kalamitsi and Porto Katsiki. These beaches are some of the best in the world with breathtaking sceneries and natural landscapes. On the south side of the Island is the village of Vasiliki. Vasiliki is a seaside village with lovely restaurants, shops, a small harbor, all in a bay that has ideal wind conditions for windsurfing.
When you start exploring the mainland of Lefkada Island you will start coming across traditional villages such as Karya, Eglouvi and Sivros where it seems like time has stood still and traditions are kept.
